Mount Macedon and more Southbank
I wanted to go hiking around Mount Macedon. Its not too far north of Melbourne. Well I got there but then had to come home soon after for no good reason. So then I wandered around a very busy Southbank. The busiest I have seen Melbourne since COVID started.
There is a giant crucifix on top of Mount Macedon. You drive to the top. The crucifix is something to do with world war 1.
There is also a cafe, its crap and opens at 11am, very weird. This photo sucks. Light is all wrong, I wonder if my ricoh would have done better.
I thought this shot might have worked, but again, bad light, foreground in shadow, background in bright light, crap clouds, hazy horizon.
Back in town, and time to wander around the local area. The Moomba festival is on, theres people everywhere even though I am not near the festival. Heres a sky and buildings
More people, and metal blocks. The photos look better exported and smaller. I think the camera is noisy comapred to the Ricoh, at least it is with the luminance and color set to off in Lightroom.
The new tallest building in Melbourne, possibly the southern hemisphere? Australia 108. Next door to my old apartment
Last pic, another building. Melbourne Square. Has a huge 2 level Woolworths supermarket in the bottom.
Today's thoughts...not great photos
I dont like todays photos. The sky was hazy, the light was weird. None of them are much good.
